Subway's Jared Fogle Suspected in Child Pornography Case

Subway's pitchman Jared Fogle is a suspect in a Federal child pornography investigation. FBI agents and Indiana State Police raided Fogle's house in Zionsville, Ind., and have removed electronics from the property.

FBI special agent Wendy Osborne said the FBI was conducting an investigation. Investigators from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service are also on the scene and assisting with the investigation. Subway said it believes this "is related to a prior investigation" of a former employee of the Jared Foundation, an organization founded by Fogle to raise awareness about childhood obesity. Russell Taylor was arrested in May on child pornography charges. A complaint filed in Taylor's case lists seven counts related to the production of child pornography, as well as another charge for possession of child pornography.

If charged and convicted of possession and distribution of child pornography, under the Federal law Fogle could be facing 30 years to life in prison depending on the nature of the charges.
