Four Men Arrested in Dodger Stadium Beating

Four men have been arrested for their participation in a postgame fight in the Dodger Stadium parking lot, which broke out after a minor traffic incident involving two cars.

The disagreement escalated into a physical altercation and one of the drivers, Arthur Morales, knocked the other to the ground. Once the victim was down, three of Morales' friends joined in the fight. The suspects allegedly held the victim down and punched and kicked him in the head.

Morales and his three friends were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

An assault with a deadly weapon charge is a wobbler, which means it may be charged as a felony or a misdemeanor, depending on the type of weapon used and the severity of the victim's injuries. If charged as a misdemeanor, the suspects could be facing up to one year in the county jail, victim restitution, $10,000 fine, informal probation, community service and anger management. If charged as a felony, they could face two to four years in state prison, restitution, fines and a possible "Strike" on their record.

If you, or someone you know has been charged with assault, assault with a deadly weapon, battery, or any other type of crime, it is in your best interest to contact a Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer to protect your future.
