R&B Star 'The Weeknd' Arrested For Punching An Officer

Abel Tesfaye, 24, also known as 'The Weeknd', is accused of allegedly punching an officer during a fight. A brawl involving 'The Weeknd' broke out inside the Cromwell Hotel which prompted law enforcement to arrive. The officers attempted to break up the fight while one of the officers pulled the singer into an elevator. That's when the singer allegedly punched the officer in the head with a closed fist.

'The Weeknd' was taken into custody for misdemeanor battery of a protected person and was released after posting his bail.
