2 Parolees Charged with Killing & Raping Four Women

Posted By Los Angeles Criminal Defense Lawyer || 20-May-2014

The two men, Franc Cano and Steven Dean Gordon are two convicted child molesters who were on probation. The crimes believe to have occurred in October and November of last year after four different women were found dead throughout Orange County. The two suspects were also wearing GPS tracking bracelets during this time and they also abided by probation and checked in with law enforcement every 30 days.

The police tied the case together after finding and identifying the four bodies and finding similarities in their lifestyle. All the women were involved in prostitution and drugs. Recently another body has been found in Costa Mesa and the police are trying to figure out if her death is somehow connected with this case.

After questioning a prostitute in Santa Ana, police found a woman that recognized one of the suspects. She said that he has an RV which he invites women into so that they can relax and do crack cocaine. Police have since seized and possessed the RV.

Right now the two suspects are facing four felony counts of rape and murder. If Cano and Gordon are found guilty and convicted of these crimes, the two will face life in prison without parole. They will also not be offered the death penalty.
