Couple Arrested After Kidnapping A Teen Boy Who Made Their Son Cry

Rebecca Carranza-Molina, 44, and Jose Molina, 56, were arrested after kidnapping a 13-year-old boy and forcing him to apologize for making their son cry. The couple's son and the 13-year-old boy were hitting one another with towels at a sandbar when their son was accidently hurt and started to cry.

Carranza-Molina left the park to pick-up her husband from home and returned to the park to chase the 13-year-old boy. The couple grabbed the boy and forced him into their minivan and took him to their residence, where they wouldn't let him leave until be apologized to their son for making him cry. A witness saw the couple force the boy into their vehicle and called the police. The authorities arrived at the couple's residence just as the boy was apologizing and arrested the couple for child endangerment and false imprisonment charges for kidnapping the boy from the street corner.
