Los Angeles County Jail Teacher Charged After Having A Sexual Relationship With Inmate

Lisa Leroy, 33, a jail facility teacher at the Los Angeles County Jail, is charged with multiple misdemeanor counts after having sexual contact with an inmate she was teaching at the Pitchess Detention Center. Leroy is accused of writing letters to an inmate and engaging in sexual acts inside a classroom at the detention center.

Leroy faces misdemeanor counts of engaging in unlawful sexual acts with an inmate at an all-male jail facility. She faces a year in jail, if convicted of the charges.
