Daniel Warn, 28, was arrested of multiple counts of commercial burglary after he robbed an El Pollo Loco in Costa Mesa and returns hours later for lunch. Warn was identified by the El Pollo Loco manager when he returned hours after burglarizing the location in the same clothes. The night before, Warn used the drive-through window to enter the building, where the security camera recorded Warn ransacking the cash register that did not contain any cash.
Warn burglarized several businesses over a two-day time frame, where he smashed in windows and stole cash from registers, safes and lockboxes. The night after he broke into El Pollo Loco the same man broke into a liquor store by smashing in a glass door, but again he was unsuccessful in finding any cash.
He was charged earlier this year with two commercial burglary charges and was sentenced to two years in prison. Warn was released on post-release community supervision. Warn was arrested on multiple counts of commercial burglary and is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail. These accounts of burglary are apparently not his first; Mr. Warn has a several previous marks on his record for burglary crimes that date back to 2011.
