Posted By Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney || 11-Sep-2013

Rapper 50 Cent pleaded not guilty to charges that he attacked his ex-girlfriend, Daphne Narvez, and her property. The performer, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, destroyed $7,100 worth of Narvez's property in her Toluca Lake condo. Narvez told police that during the argument, Jackson began destroying property before she locked herself in a bedroom. She stated that Jackson kicked open the bedroom door and kicked her, causing injury. Jackson denied the attack, but faces four counts of vandalism and one of domestic violence. If convicted, Jackson could face up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.
