Lead singer of Grammy-nominated rock band As I Lay Dying has been arrested in Southern California in a sting operation for allegedly attempting to arrange the murder of his estranged wife. Tim Lamebsis, 32, was arrested on Thursday while shopping in Oceanside, California and has been charged with three counts, including solicitation of another to commit murder, and two counts of conspiracy to commit a crime.
On Tuesday, Lambesis solicited an undercover detective to kill his wife Meggan Lambesis, who resides in Encinitas, California with their three children the couple adopted from Ethiopia together in the recent years before separating. The singer's wife filed for dissolution of marriage last September, according to San Diego Superior Court documents.
If you, or someone you know has been charged with solicitation of another to commit murder, conspiracy, or any type of homicide, it is important to call an aggressive criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles who can successfully defend your case.
