Posted By Attorney Robert Bernstein || 11-Jan-2013

A maintenance employee at an Orange County nursing home has been charged with sexually assaulting an elderly disabled woman. The employee allegedly entered the room of the woman who suffers from dementia, and sexually assaulted her between June and July of 2012, leaving physical evidence in the room.

The suspect faces two felony charges related to the sexual assault of an institutionalized victim, and could face up to eight years in state prison and have to register as a sex offender. Currently, he is free on $100,000 bail.

If you, or someone you know has been charged with sexual assault, rape, or any other type of sex crime, it is imperative to hire a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who can defend your case.
