Federal agents forgot about a UC San Diego student who was left in a windowless room for five days without food and water. To avoid a lawsuit against the officials who left Daniel Chong in the cell, the U.S. government will award the student $4.1 million. Chong was forced to drink his own urine in an attempt to stay alive. After Chong threaten to sue, he was awarded $4.1 million settlement by the government.
