Orange County Man Sentenced For Cashing In His Dead Father's Social Security And Pension Checks

Larry Dominguez, 66, was sentenced to six years in state prison for forging his father's signature on checks and assuming his identity. Following his death in 2005, Dominguez buried his father's body in their backyard, and collected $96,500 of his father's social security and pension benefits. Dominguez pleaded guilty to charges of grand theft, forgery, embezzlement and identify theft. Dominguez has been ordered to pay over $97,000 in restitution.
