San Fernando Man Sentenced to 43 Years to Life for Rape

In January 2012, Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives arrested an 18-year-old San Fernando man for allegedly breaking into a house and raping the female resident. He was charged with 17 felonies including attempted murder, Home Invasion Robbery, kidnapping and multiple sexual assault charges.

Recently, as part of a plea deal, the suspect pled guilty to a Forcible Rape charge, plus one count each of Sexual Penetration by a Foreign Object by means of Force and Forcible Oral Copulation. The man was sentenced to 43 years to life in state prison.
