Actress Sean Young was involved in an altercation with a security guard as she tried to enter an Academy Awards after-party. According to Young, she struck the security guard after he allegedly grabbed her arm and started pulling her. The security guard made a citizen’s arrest and Young was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery at the Hollywood division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Young, whose credits include “Blade Runner,” “Ace Ventura” and “Wall Street,” was released on $20,000 bail and is due to appear in court on March 19.
Young was one of 10 people arrested in connection with Sunday night's awards ceremony. In those arrests, charges included Trespassing, Robbery and Forgery related to fake credentials.
