An 18-year-old has been charged with the attempted murder of two teens as well as Commercial burglary after stealing a Lamborghini owned by celebrity chef, Guy Fieri.
Earlier this year, the suspect shot at a teen couple as they sat in a pickup truck outside of a residence. Both suffered minor injuries and were able to cooperate with authorities. The female victim alleged that the suspect supplied her and her friends with fake IDs and that she had rebuffed his romantic advances. An investigation of the suspect led authorities to his storage unit where they recovered Fieri's Lamborghini, stolen in March of 2011, and confiscated numerous weapons, ammunition, fake IDs, equipment to jam radio and cell signals, a full police uniform and other evidence.
The teen is now facing two counts of attempted murder as well as Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle, Commercial burglary and Taking a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent. If convicted of all charges, he faces up to 30 years in prison.
