LL COOL J Catches Burglar in His Home, Detains Him Until Police Arrive

Posted By Robert M. Bernstein || 27-Aug-2012

LL COOL J, rapper and star of “NCIS Los Angeles,” was upstairs in his home when he heard noises coming from the kitchen area. When he went down to see what was happening, the suspect came at him, leading to a fight which left the intruder with a broken nose and jaw. LL COOL J was able to physically detain the man until police arrived and arrested him.

The intruder has been charged with burglary. Under California law, burglary is defined as entering a structure with the intent to commit a theft or any felony once inside. If you are convicted of burglary as a felony, you face up to six years in the California State Prison.

If you or someone you know has been charged with burglary, robbery, grand theft, petty theft, or any other type of theft crime, it is essential to hire an experienced Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer who can protect your rights.
