Clark Gable's grandson, Clark Gable III, was arrested in July after allegedly shining a laser on a Los Angeles Police Department helicopter, momentarily blinding the officers.
The officers in the helicopter were able to determine which vehicle the laser came from, and officers on the ground stopped the car and arrested Gable. Gable, who was a passenger in the car at the time of the incident, insists that he was aiming the laser at the Hollywood sign, not at the helicopter.
Gable has been charged with three felony counts of discharge of a laser at an aircraft. If convicted, he could be facing up to three years in prison.
