Los Angeles Child Predator Must Register as Sex Offender After Violating Parole

Eric Valentin of Los Angeles was convicted in 2009 of one felony count of sending harmful material to a minor and was sentenced to 16 months in state prison. He was released on parole in in August of this year and tried to reconnect with his victim through Facebook.

Valentin was charged with, and plead guilty to one count of child molestation and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, along with four months of suspended time, 36 months of probation and mandatory sex offender registration. He has also been ordered to stay away from and refrain from contacting the minor in any way.
