Burglary Suspects Arrested After Asking Their Victim for Help

Posted By Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney || 14-Nov-2011

Two burglary suspects were recently arrested after their get-away U-Haul truck became stuck in some dirt in a vacant lot next to the property they had just burglarized. A man happened to be walking his dog nearby and the suspects asked if he could help them out. Little did they know, that man happened to be their victim. When the victim walked over to their vehicle, he realized that his chain link fence had been cut and that some property from his home was in the back of their truck.

The man called the sheriff's department, and the suspects were arrested and booked on suspicion of Burglary, Grand Theft and Receiving Stolen Property.
