Orange County Woman Charged with Grand Theft for Selling Fake Lady Gaga Tickets

Posted By Criminal Defense || 30-Mar-2011

A Hermosa Beach woman, Debra Louise Brass, sold dozens of fake Lady Gaga tickets on Craigslist last summer.  She has been charged with Grand Theft.

Police learned about the phony tickets from a woman who went to the August concert at Staples Center and was unable to get in.  An additional 47 people who tried to see the concert also identified Brass as the person who sold them their tickets.

Brass pleaded no contest last week to charges of Grand Theft.  In exchange for her plea, she has been placed on three years of probation and ordered to pay at least $7,000.00 in restitution.
