Police Investigate Sexual Battery Accusation against Actor Timothy Busfield

Timothy Busfield, an actor known for his work on television series such as The West Wing and Entourage has recently been accused of sexual battery after going out on a date.

Busfield was on a date with the unnamed victim. They were making out during a movie when Busfield allegedly went too far. His date abruptly left and reported the incident to the police, accusing him of groping her breasts and genitals.

Under California law, sexual battery is defined as touching an "intimate part" of another person without consent for the purpose of sexual gratification. It is punishable by up to six months in jail, plus a fine of up to $2,000.

If you, or someone you know has been charged with sexual battery, sexual assault, or any other type of sex crime, it is essential that you consult with a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney as soon as possible to protect your rights.
