Beverly Hills Financial Advisor Arrested for Vandalism

A Beverly Hills investment adviser was arrested last week in connection with a string of vandalism incidents in the Los Angeles area. Seventy windows or more at businesses and office buildings have been shattered by a vandal over the past few months. One office building was hit three times, costing the owner $7,000 in repairs.

Michael Poret was arrested July 3 on suspicion of smashing more than twenty windows in Beverly Hills. A police officer found a slingshot, projectiles, knives and brass knuckles in his car during a traffic stop at the same time that a window-smashing was reported nearby. Days later he was arrested at his Encino home on suspicion of smashing as many as fifty windows. Investigators searched his home and found slingshots, marbles, BB guns and firearms.

Due to the extensive amount of damage Poret caused, he will likely be charged with multiple counts of felony vandalism.

If you or someone you know has been charged with vandalism or any other type of crime, it is essential to hire an aggressive criminal defense lawyer in Los Angeles who can fight for your future.
