Rapper Tone Loc Sentenced for Domestic Violence

Tone Loc, whose real name is Anthony Smith, was arrested in June, following a physical altercation with the mother of his child at an apartment complex in Burbank, California. Police also discovered an unregistered assault rifle while conducting a search of the premises. Smith was charged with one felony count of Possession of anAssault Weapon and one felony charge of Domestic Violence, Corporal Injury to a Spouse.

Tone Loc, most known for his hit singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina," recently plead no contest to the felony charges against him. He has been sentenced to one day in county jail, three years of probation, 30 days of community service and 52 weeks of anger management counseling.
