Orange County Dance Instructor Arraigned for Sexual Assault of a Minor

Orange County dance instructor, Brandon Marriott, was arrested after the parents of one of his fifteen-year-old students discovered sexually explicit text messages that he had sent to the girl. Marriot allegedly sexually assaulted the girl twice, once in his car after taking her to see a movie.

He has been charged with twofelony counts of Sexual Penetration of a Minor and one felony count of Oral Copulation of a Minor. If he is convicted of all charges, he will face a maximum of five years in prison and will more than likely be required to register as a sex offender upon release.
