Man who used Craigslist to solicit a minor for sex pleads guilty

Howard Houchen Wang was arrested after soliciting a 13-year-old girl for sex through Craigslist. Wang had sent the girl lewd e-mails, erotic pictures of himself and arranged to pay her for sex before he drove to Huntington Beach to meet her.  Instead, he was met by police.  The "girl" had been a Huntington Beach Police detective who was posing as a minor in order to catch sexual predators. 

Wang plead guilty to four felony charges including; attempting  lewd acts upon a child younger than 14, luring a child with the intent to commit a crime, meeting a minor to commit  lewd conduct and exhibition of lewd material to a minor.  He has been sentenced to two years and eight months in state prison.
