Former Los Angeles County Deputy Charged with Felony Gun Threat and Burglary

A former Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was recently arrested on a felony warrant at his Pasadena home in connection with an incident last April while he was still a law enforcement officer.  He has been charged with felony first-degree burglary, felony assault with a firearm, making a criminal threat and a misdemeanor count of battery.

It is alleged that the former deputy broke into his former fiancé's Pasadena residence while off-duty and pointed a gun at her boyfriend. He then threatened the man and punched him.

If convicted of all charges, he faces up to 16 years in state prison.
