Orange County man convicted of possessing child porn, annoying and molesting 12-year-old girl
24-year-old Alejandro Lorenzo Contreras was recently convicted of Possessing Child Pornography and Annoying and Molesting a 12-year-old girl at a local public library.
Contreras pursued three girls into and around the Stanton library. He then followed them outside and asked one of them to take a cell phone photo of herself and send it to his cell phone. The girl told authorities, leading to Contreras' arrest where officers found that he had a pornographic photo of another child on his cell phone.
Contreras plead guilty to one misdemeanor count of possession of child pornography and one misdemeanor count of child annoyance. He is expected to be sentenced to one year in jail, three years of formal probation and mandatory lifetime sex-offender registration.
